DW AGRICULTURE IN THE COMMUNITY
We are very involved in growing capacity and wealth in our communities. DW Agriculture policy is to recruit a majority of the workers from the immediate community.
Our main involvement with the communities however is through creating market access to products from the community either as input to our operations or assisting with their family owned animal products, which benefit from our hatchery operations, or our value addition and market access opportunities.
Involving the community in our value chain allows all parties to benefit from each other and to offer the best quality to our consumers at competitive prices.
FAIR TRADE
Because improving our communities, environmental sustainability and climate change adaptation are at the core of our business DW Agriculture operates on fair trade principles.

WORKERS WELFARE
DW Agriculture workers undergo comprehensive and continuous training fit for purpose. The use of personal protective equipment is compulsory in line with our standard operating procedure. We retain the nearest health center to provide emergency and routine medical attention for our staff and workers on site.
DW Agriculture workers are encouraged to contribute more towards the business and reputational success of the company through a system of incentives including regular salary increments linked to the growth of the company as well as yearly bonus payments when targets are met or surpassed
